We are using jetspeed with many portlet entries in the user psml files (
 > 100).
Its an CVS version around 11-21-2001.
The performance is drastically gowing down with the number of entries in the
user psml file. Its not the Netscape "nested table" bug then in fact it
appears in
any browser and after "shrinking" the psml to a single portlet entry
jetspeed
runs like hell ;-)

Is it a possible castor parsing problem and is there a chance to speed
it up ?
Im thinking about upgrading to db-psml but i dont think this will speed up
the parsing process.
