Looking through the jetspeed.log, I recieve the following error:

[Thu Jan 17 16:57:46 PST 2002] -- ERROR -- Error rendering Velocity
template: screens/html/Customize.vm: Invocation of method 'getContent'
in class org.apache.jetspeed.portal.controls.VelocityPortletControl
threw exception class java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError

I havent changed anything in the js.p or tr.p files. The following is
set (for velocity):
services.TemplateService.default.extension=vm

And I am sorry that I pieced this together in three emails. I will be a
better poster in the future.

Thanks again,
Tom

Subject: Nightly Build Missing Portlets: Addition

Also, I did move the xalan and xerces jar files from the jetspeed/lib
directory to the tomcat/lib directory and removed the jaxp.jar and
parser.jar files from tomcat/lib directory. I do get the anonymous user
portlets displayed on the home page, but when I login, I dont get any
portlets displayed to me. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Tom

Subject: Nightly Build Missing Portlets

Hello,
I am working with the 1.3a2 release. Great job people!!! This works fine
on my system.

I was looking at the Changes page and saw an interesting parameter that
I would like to use (the showtitlebar parameter). I downloaded the
nighly build (first from 1-16 and then 1-17). When I start either of
these applications up and login, I dont see any of the portlets. When I
click on any of the links (HTML or WML), the page comes up blank except
for the header and footer content. Am I missing something? Is there
anykind of configuration that I need to do? I am running Tomcat 3.2.3 on
Win2kPro. Do I need to upgrade to Tomcat 4.0?

Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom
