Hrishikesh,
I am making the following assumptions:
o You are using the WebPagePortlet, not HTML!
o Their is an error message in jetspeed.log
related to the retrieval of you portlet content
o The portlet JavaWeb has a similar problem
o The pages are correctly displayed in you browser

You have not properly configured Jetspeed to use a proxy. I do not know
the proper configuration. I suggest:
o Searching the jetspeed-user mailing list
    (http://www.mail-archive.com)
  o Searching the turbine documentation
o Searching the turbine-user mailing list
    (http://www.mail-archive.com)
