There is a 4.0.2 final release 2/11/2002 (see link). I wouldn't swear to
it, but it the same bytes as the 1.4.4 and I believe that they said it
had 1.4.3... your right... duh... I've been using tc3 up to now, and
have been replacing the version Novell ships with 1.4.4 for jetpseed to
work. I haven't gotten it to work yet with 4. Removing xerces from
system and using it specifically with container makes sense. What would
I do with a brain if i had one <http://www.wiserlabz.com/splashyindex.html>
* 11 Feb 2002 - Tomcat 4.0.2 Release
<http://jakarta.apache.org/site/news.html#0211.1>
The Tomcat Team is proud to announce the final release of Tomcat 4.0.2.
Binary and source distributions are available here
<http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-tomcat-4.0/release/v4.0.2/> .
Paul and everyone, i'd like to get your opinion on this other open
source project i'm involved in, I think
<https://chiki.wiserlabz.com:9299> it's pretty cool.
I did run into an interesting issue... jvm1.3.1 memory limits... ut oh..
424 mb with my os..
Does anyone have any performance tips on tc4 or suggestions for
configuration of pooled sql drivers, specifically ms-sql release 2
I agree about the long discussion... although I am not qualified to
participate. There will come a point in time, when you all need an
"overseeing" committee to ensure cross compatiblity... with ease.. All
the software in world is good, but there are not many end users/non
programmers that will use something that requires too much learning, at
least it would be strike against and for m$. I understand the daunting
tasks the programmers make, and appreciate it. The main reason for my
interests and particpation is to hopefully effect some positive
interest, and hopefully contributions and suggestions.
I have not seen it lately, so i'll say it ... THANK YOU... ALL..... VERY
VERY MUCH... :)
