Hi, The HP Jetspeed Trailmap was built as a demo that shows HP Application Server running open source software. It is also intended to be a basic introduction to Jetspeed.
As far as I know HP is not funding the Jetspeed project. Jetspeed has blown me away, but I have some questions: -- Is there any timetable for when Jetspeed might be at "beta" stability? I want it for a production system in approx. 4 months. (Yes, I'm willing to help if I can convince the powers-that-be). -- I saw HP has a page on Jetspeed. What is the relationship between the two? Is HP helping out with funding? -- Jetspeed seems to work primarily with Velocity's server pages, and has some support for JSP. Is moving toward JSP a priority for the JSP project? -- Would you describe Jetspeed as being a vibrant project? The "sample sites" on Jakarta is very slim indeed. The activity on the mailserv suggest that more people are using Jetspeed than the sample sites would indicate. -- What is the largest site (i.e. # of hits) that is currently using Jetspeed? I'm wondering how much load the app can handle. thanks, Mike [EMAIL PROTECTED] ps. Great stuff! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
