Hello,

Regarding one other Java alternative in the CMS market - the eContent
project is not free though at least open source at www.jcorporate.com.
eContent is very much alive and is based on the Struts/Expresso framework
(which is the market leading frameworks).

JCorporate.com is a marketplace of applications built on Struts/Expresso
framework with source code developed by various companies and independent
developers throughout the globe. The site has several applications suitable
for building a portlet marketplace including eForum, eFaq, ePoll all of
which are free open source. There are other applications in development
which are very suitable as portlets but not yet ready to announce.

Now to get the integration of these applications with the portal side of
things....the portlet API specfication is of much interest but when roughly
will it settle down to the point to be feasible to develop and deploy
products with it?
