Jetspeed --> Websphere Portal

It seems like Websphere Portal is partially based on Jetspeed 
(http://www7b.boulder.ibm.com/wsdd/library/tutorials/0110kikuchipart1.html). My 
question is : Is it possible to deploy/port portlets, initially created for Jetspeed, 
on Websphere Portal Server ?
