I have a fresh install of Jetspeed 1.3a2 and I want to setup a new default role with standard permissions for my new users. This is what I have done:
1) I log in as Admin and create a new role using the standard user interface 2) I grant every permission to this role 3) I create a new user and change its default role from Admin to the new role I created. 4) I log out as Admin and relogin as my new user, and I don't have any privileges. What have I done wrong? Also I have added the following 2 entries to JetspeedResources.Properties: services.Profiler.newuser.template=WatchTower services.JetspeedSecurity.newuser.roles=WatchTower where WatchTower is my new user and new role name. When I create a new user, it still defaults to the "user" role and "Turbine" default home page. What am I doing wrong here?
