Pierre:

edit your server.xml in [TOMCAT_HOME]/conf/server.xml

add the entry:

<Context path="" docBase="C:/[jetspeed_home]"            debug="0"
reloadable="true"/>

before the </host>.

documentation

sorry if this seems like a trivial question, but:

how can I change the default path from of my url from
www.myserver.com/jetspeed/portal
to
www.myserver.com

I assume it is not something silly like putting a redirect file on the
root of my server and forwarding to /jetspeed

I would prefer not to see the text "jetspeed" or "portal" in the url

any thoughts ?
