hi

I have some troubles understanding how to get this work.

For example I have few portlets (like news, weather, poll questions, etc)
along left & right columns on my portlet page. Also along the top I have
few links which represent my menu structure. They may include: Login,
Forum, FAQ, Chat Rooms, Photo Gallery, etc.

When I click on any of these links I want the main portlet (which is
located in the centre of the screen and is surrounded by all that small
portlets I described earlier) to be replaces by either forum portlet, faq
portlet, chat room portlet, photo gallery portlet, etc...
I don't think this issue relates to minimizing/maximizing corresponding
portlet, because I do not know what the portlet would be until I click on
the link (links are generate from xml file & may include portlet
name/reference, but when porltet page is customized for default user, we do
not know what the links are, in fact list of links can be another portlet
located along the top of the page).

To some extend I am going to simulate 'traditional' web page structure
where the main part of the screen is based on the menu selection by the
user.
So my question is, how is it possible to 'replace' main portlet based on
user selection of the menu.

thank you very much
Eugen
