Hello Jetspeed users....
I have what I hope is a simple, newbie kind of question.
I have been playing with Jetspeed for a few days, written a couple of portlets and
modified the default.psml to add my
portlets to that page, etc....
Now I would like to build my own little webapp, but I am having trouble understanding
the flow of a request.
I see the index.jsp page, immediatly does a forward to portal/ and I can see in the
web.xml file that /portal/* is mapped
to jetspeed which is an instance of org.apache.turbine.Turbine... but thats about
where I lose the connection?
BTW I turned on the jsp rendering but the question remains the same.
I can see from reverse engineering that the templates/jsp/layouts/html/en/default.jsp
is somehow involved, but not sure
how. I assume it is not an accident that default.jsp or default.vm and default.psml
all have the root 'default'.
Can someone either point to docs or explain this connection?
What I am trying to do is just start from scratch with a simple webapp so I can go
through the process once.
Thanks in advance - any help is really appreciated.
