I'm thinking that a potential way around having access to the portal head and body is
to have my portlet contain an IFRAME which loads the DHTML page as its source. In the
source page I can do what ever magic is required for the DHTML since that page will
have its own <head> and <body> tags.
Does this seem to be the right approach?

Subject: DHTML scripts in portlets

Hi all,
Many of the DHTML scripts I've seen <plug>at http://www.dynamicdrive.com </plug>
seem to want modifications to the <body> tag or be included in the <head> section. Is
there anyway to get access to these areas or to affect what gets written in them when
the portal server is generating the html page?
There are some really razzle/dazzle scripts out there that I'd like to use in a
portlet to have a nicer user interface than plain html provides.
