I am trying to configure Jetspeed 1.4b1
I followed all the instructions on the help to specify

my.properties file but couldnt change the logo. I searched the pages containing the jetspeed-logo.gif and put my own file name there. I deleted the tomcat/work/* files too. Right now there is no file in

directory tomcat\webapps\jetspeed\WEB-INF\* which contains the string jetspeed-logo.gif but I still cannot get rid of it.
This is not the only problem. I cannot change the
top nagivation or bottom nagivation pages etc too.
However I have successfully added/removed portlets
and connected it to mysql.

I feel dumb asking this but cannot figure out what am
I missing here.

Hi plan,
changing the logo and other navigation stuff (top navigation, left navigation, ...etc) depends on the templating system you are using

1) vm: in js.p file navigation bar customization section change the topnav.logo.file attribute. and other stuff can be changed from /web-inf/templates/vm/navigations/html/*
2) jsp: and this your case as I think for logo you will find it in /web-inf/templates/jsp/layouts/html/default.jsp BUT be sure that you are accessing this file not the default.jsp in the /en or /de directory or then, change the appropriate default.jsp file. All other navigation stuff can be changed from /web-inf/templates/jsp/navigations/html/*.
