share same security tables as TDK 2.1?

I am deploying jetspeed for my new project "jsurvey" that is based upon turbine (TDK 2.1)

Are the security tables compatible between jetspeed and TDK 2.1?
For example, can I use same user, role, group, user_group_role tables between the applications?
