Hi! I had the same problem yesterday... I used JDK1.3 with Tomcat4.04. I upgraded to Tomcat 4.1.12 and installed the "java web service developer kit" (jwsdk) from the Sun site, and it worked fine. There is an issue with the JAXP JAR. Try and install JAXP (it is included in the jwsdk and in JDK1.4) or JDK 1.4.
