The browser proxy should be the host you are running.
Try value="http://127.0.0.1:8080/jetspeed/browser";
for parameter name="proxy"
This will work for local machine only. Need to substitute your domain name or IP for the localhost value.

and the rss.xsl file where shud i copy it?
in the WEB-INF/classess/xsl folder or jetspeed/rss folder?
