Hi,

i found a bogus behavior using Jetspeed with LDAP :
Jetspeed seems create numerous connections to the OpenLDAP server, so that server can't handle any more and he says :

>connection_init(1784): connection table full (64/64)
>daemon: connection_init(1784, IP=10.1.1.153:1711, IP=1.0.0.0:0) failed.

in the Jetspeed log, there is a stack trace error starting like this :

>[21 janv. 2003 16:04:50 ERROR] - LDAP Service: Communication error: ldap://10.1.1.153:389
>javax.naming.CommunicationException: Request: 1 cancelled

Then, an UnknownUserException is thrown and the portlet(s) can't be displayed.

i'm using Jetspeed 1.4b3 with OpenLDAP 2.0.19 under a win2k server.
Always works a few minutes, then if a page with many portlets is requested, the problem appears.

Has anyone, experienced this ?

thanks.

Fabien
