It sounds as if you look for a content-managment stylish system. There used to be the JetspeedContent portlet, which allowed users (admins) to enter sort of headlines and could be viewed by anybody. Recently there was an email on this list that this portlet is defunct now, but I tried it and oddly enough in my 1.4b3 download it worked. I would try it. Stefan P. S.: Log in as admin, go to the Admin pane, there's Jetspeed Content. What you enter is displayed on the front page.
