You can find mod_jk binaries here (http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-tomcat-connectors/jk/release/v1.2.2/bin/linux/i386/)
place this in Apache modules directory.
Create a text file with the name workers.properties in the Apache conf direcotry with the following content. (Edit ports, IPs to match your system)
# Define 1 real worker using ajp13
worker.list=worker1
# Set properties for worker1 (ajp13)
worker.worker1.type=ajp13
worker.worker1.host=127.0.0.1
worker.worker1.port=8009
worker.worker1.lbfactor=50
worker.worker1.cachesize=10
worker.worker1.cache_timeout=600
worker.worker1.socket_keepalive=1
worker.worker1.socket_timeout=300
Then edit httpd.conf and add the lines below.
LoadModule jk_module modules/mod_jk.so
JkWorkersFile /etc/httpd/conf/workers.properties
JkLogFile /var/log/httpd/mod_jk.log
JkLogLevel warn
JkLogStampFormat "[%a %b %d %H:%M:%S %Y] "
JkOptions +ForwardKeySize +ForwardURICompat -ForwardDirectories
JkRequestLogFormat "%w %V %T"
JkMount /* worker1
Please note that the file locations I have above are for RedHat Linux. Other distributions might have different locations.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Roshan
If someone could point me in the right direction to get the mod_jk.so and Apache/Tomcat configuration going it would be appreciatedAllen
