If you are using the the release war, jetspeed comes packaged in a jar. The localization files are within that jar. That is why you will not find any files in the classes directory. To modify the localization, add the directory org/apache/jetspeed/modules/localization to the WEB-INF/classes directory and place the properties files there. Now you can edit them and Jetspeed will use your translations.

Just unjar the jetspeed jar to get the localization files from it.

Hi

I downloaded jetspeed 1.4b4-war.zip from the jakarta web-site.
Im trying to change the header on the default page - "Welcome to Jetspeed"
but can't find where the TOP_TITLE variable is defined.
I've searched on the mailing list site and noticed that i don't have
a localization file or a classes directory after installing Jetspeed

Why is this and where can I find these files ?

thanks
