maybe i should have used the word "accessibility", in fact. (using html4 being a lack in this case) iframes lack accessibility in that less-capable users will have more trouble using/reading/earing them than a plain regular page, and a bit of usability in that the content is more likely to be wrongly indexed by web-search-engines, for example. But now, i must admit I did not verify these things I say with Iframes, only with frames. I'm just guessing/supposing actually. But it's just I was sorta scared reading everybody getting crazy about having each portlet in a iframe etc... (and i didn't mean to say all that about the whole jetspeed, but just about iframe usage and non-xhtml compliance) >As for xhtml, the default Jetspeed distribution is not XHTML compliant >but the engine is completely ready to support, somebody just has to >define xhtml complaint templates. >Any contribution in this respect is evry welcome :) well, if i end up using jetspeed, i hopefully will get some time to do this ;) g --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
