maybe i should have used the word "accessibility", in fact. (using html4
being a lack in this case) iframes lack accessibility in that less-capable
users will have more trouble using/reading/earing them than a plain regular
page, and a bit of usability in that the content is more likely to be wrongly
indexed by web-search-engines, for example.
But now, i must admit I did not verify these things I say with Iframes, only
with frames. I'm just guessing/supposing actually. But it's just I was sorta
scared reading everybody getting crazy about having each portlet in a iframe
etc...
(and i didn't mean to say all that about the whole jetspeed, but just about
iframe usage and non-xhtml compliance)
