The only luck I've ever had changing .xreg files is with tomcat and the portal not running at all. Your milage may vary.

Hi! I'd like to know some info about registry management: if i change some portlet definition in xreg file and wait for RegistryWatcher to be executed, the change i made to xreg file will be persisted and not over written. Is this correct? I make some test and i verified that if i change some definitions in xreg file and don't wait for RegistryWatcher to be executed, my changes were over written by info in cache. Last question: what the meaning of default.* properties of Registry service? it seems that files listed in default.* properties will receive the same treatment of all xreg files. :(
Thanks for your attention, William
