The instructions (http://stumod.com/jetspeed/) do apply to b4. If you're using dbpsml and have extraordinarily large psml files, you may run into a problem and want to use a bigger value than 16777215. Other than that you should have no troubles.
We've been running w/ those changes in production since I finished that doc and haven't had any problems. I assume the objectdata columns in TURBINE_whatever are used for object persistence or something... but I've never seen those columns touched by Jetspeed. >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 11/11/03 10:27AM >>> I am trying to create tables in DB2 and was wondering about the length of Objectdata and profile fields. I am defining them as CLOBs. I have never used CLOBs or BLOBs before. I found in some posting(http://stumod.com/jetspeed/) that he has used CLOB(16777215). I am on v1.4b4. Is that what I need to use??. Also, the same posting says: though we define binary data fields in most of the tables, all of them are not used. What is the affect if I do not define them on tables like: TURBINE_PERMISSION, TURBINE_GROUP, and TURBINE_ROLE. Any information would be greately appreciated.
