You should be able to do this by changing the XSL file that does the RSS
transformation.  I think that would be easier than extending the class.

Thank for your questions.

But I want to know about things, which control the output of rss news in
RSSPortlet.
I should mark last items with different color (I think ,red).
I suppose to create a class, extending RSSPorlet. This class will parse
rss document and prepare it for output. Thus I want to change a color of the
text.
