null get posted

Hi
I have changed in the IFRAME Basic AUTH.
To have the following properties instead of the standard.

      Properties: 
      source: http://localhost:8080/jetspeed/getparameter.jsp 
      password.style.template: Password.vm 
      width: 640 
      password.style: VelocityParameterPresentationStyle 
      frameborder: true 
      text_databas: ibt_sune 
      text_user: peter99 
      text_password: mireatest 
      height: 480 


And i have written a part that get the parameters but the return null 
do it need to be https to make it post data ?
Or is it in some xml file i should change the properties ?

Is there any good docs about this amazon or smeothing else, willing to purchase books !
