Thanks for your response. I figured it had something to do with not being
able to find the user profile, but the .psml files are where they are as
usual. I have been experimenting with psml-in-db, but I (thought I had)
reverted this back to the original situation. Where is the user profile
normally stored? Not in the .psml files?
(I was trying to keep the database out of the picture)

Usually it's when jetspeed can't find the profile you're requesting.

If using DBPSML : check if your database is well populated

If using FilePSML : check if the files are ok (by that I mean you still have
the same tree structure for user/role...)
