I tried per the suggested manual build and got
basically same errors, failing to find log4jetty.log.
I tried build from the build/torque using:
ant -f build-torque.xml -propertyfile
./build.properties and got a

      3 BUILD FAILED
      4
/u02/jetspeed/jakarta-jetspeed/build/torque/lib not
found.
I tried creating this directory and copied over dir
contents of /u02/jetspeed/jakarta-jetspeed/lib/ and
received same errors as my initial posting of missing
lo4jetty.log

If one can focus on the build log errors from my
initial post line 62 on, and the corresponding
<torque-sql> task starting on line 189, WHERE does the
log4j gets called? Is it in Torque?

What log4j it picks up on the classpath?
