Hi Sinda,

First off,  the subject line "Tutorial  - sux" will generally get you very
little help ;)  Especially from the core developers.  I myself have never
tried David's tutorial at Bluesunrise but I know others who have and have
not had any problems.  The only issues I have heard of, and these are from
David himself, is that the tutorial is sometimes out of synch with the
current CVS version of Jetspeed 1.

I really don't think that's the case, a lot of people use Jetspeed to build
their portals.  I will be the first to admit that J1 has its short comings;
as does any software package, open source or not.  We realize this and are
making a valiant effort in J2, which is a ground up re-write, to address
these issues.  One of our goals is to remove as many complex support apis'
as possible where we could, for example you no longer have to understand
Turbine to use J2 as it (Turbine) has been removed.
