I would like to define group specific pages, e. g. users belonging to "group1" would get a the group1-pane in addition to their own customizable panes. It seems to be possible to achieve this beviour for *new* accounts using roles, but I want to be able to change group panes for existing accounts, too.
In addition to that it would be nice if users could choose the groups they belong to. Another possibility might be to use PSML refenrences, but the "Add Reference" action is only enabled when logged in as administrator - can a normal user access this feature?
Is it possible to do this in Jetspeed?
Another (minor) problem is the categoization of portlets. Giving a portlet a category with a group different from "Jetspeed" does not effect the grouping of the portlet in the "add portlet" action. Can the categorization be based upon the logged users role?
Thanks for any help Rainer
