I use to have this kind of service architecture hosted in a IFramePortlet:
EntryJsp ----Submit----> Servlet
|
ConnectToDB
|
Write/Read
|
ResultJsp <-----Redirect----
Interactive, and internal navigation is allowed as well!
It works fine!
