I'm writing a web-interface to another application using Jetspeed. I've just updated my CVS of the other application, and I'm now getting the following error line repeated multiple times

log4j:ERROR Attempted to append to closed appender named [jetspeed].
log4j:ERROR Attempted to append to closed appender named [jetspeed].
log4j:ERROR Attempted to append to closed appender named [jetspeed].
...

I'm guessing that the people who've written the other application have done something to the setup of log4j which has meant that Jetspeed logging has gone wrong. Unfortunately, I have to use the latest version of this other application, so I was wondering if I might solve the problem of the error messages above by turning off Jetspeed logging. Anyone any idea how I do this?

Stef
