We have an excel spreadsheet that may contain financial ledger information and URL that would call our application. Our application is an applet running within an IFRAME portlet. This application works fine and we can invoke it no problem from a URL within Jetspeed. Is there a mechanism whereby we can invoke the Jetspeed portlet from outside of Jetspeed.
The only resolution I can think of so far is to have a jetspeed portlet monitoring an execution queue which is not ideal.
