Thanks for the help. I am only beginning to test jetspeed, but have two completely separate directory structures. As such, I believe I am using two separate database instances (i.e. no sql or external database).
The problem I have is that I often authenticate as "admin" and then try to use an administrative portlet. I am then told I am not authorized. Further investigation indicates that I am back to being logged in as "anon". Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Assia Aouat [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2004 10:51 AM To: Jetspeed Users List Subject: RE: Multiple jetspeed-1 instances Hi I have in my webapps two instances of jetspeed with no problem /webapps/instance1 /webapps/instance2 that each one has its own web-inf and classes ... do your instances use the same database for jetspeed ? assia -----Original Message----- From: Greg Buchanan [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2004 10:31 AM To: Jetspeed Users List Subject: Multiple jetspeed-1 instances I am currently running two jetspeed-1 instances in a single engine within tomcat .... separate hosts but a single engine. Is this acceptable or advisable ? Am having very odd problems with authentication and page rendering.
