Hi Folks,
Is there a way to provide for a different skin and
present different images based on a different virtual
host? What I want to do is have one JetSpeed portal
instance running with a single (user ID) namespace for
all virtual hosts, BUT I want it to present a
different look and feel based on which virtual host
you arrive from.
The former Epicentic Foundation Server (EFS), which is
now Vignette Portal Server I believe, had the concept
of "sites" within a single portal instance. This is
roughly what I am looking to do. I wish to support
multiple "virtual portals" within one real one
differentiated by virtual host name. I don't need a
separate namespace to user ID's, etc. I just need
each "site" to look different via skins, images, etc.
Everything else (portlets, etc.) can be shared just
like it is one happy instance.
Can I somehow point to a separate anon template based
on virtual host? Then I guess I would also need a
separate "new user" template again based on virtual
host.
Any idea's and/or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark
