Well,
We need to develop An enterprise portal for a client on jetspeed.
1. Most of the portlets displays links to the uploaded documents or urls
These links need to be added by the portal admin and should appear in
the portlet
after the approval cycle.
2.Some of the portlets are forum portets like HR dept issues portet,
Finance Dept portlet
issues etc.In this portlet, one of the portal user posts a message. Then
it appears as
a link in that portlet.Other users can respond to that. So, when a
message is clicked,
The initial message and the responses are displayed along with the name
of the user who
has posted the message or response.
3.I have downloaded and tried to an extent.I could not restrict the access
to the portlets
acc to the roles. Can anyone help me.My exact requirement is I need to
sho a portlet in a
tab for only one role.
4.I want to implement single sign on.Are there any plugins that can be
integrated with
jetspeed portal.
Thanks,
Kalyani.

Well, Jetspeed-1 isn't JSR-168 compatible, so there's no point asking
this. It may be worth you installing Jetspeed (not difficult!) and
trying it out to help you sort out all your problems. But anyway, you
probably will have to specify your requirements in more detail to get
help - do you yourself know what you mean by a discussion forum portlet?
If so, let us know and maybe someone can help you. If not, work it out
first, let us know, and then maybe we can help you. If you have a
problem, you need to define it first before finding a solution.
