Hi, Actually our reqmt is this way:
Portal admin creates a category and then add sections under that or directly content under that.Adding of content should go thru the approval cycle(workflow). Also, he should be able to create a portlet with respect to that category by click of a button like "Create Pagelet" against that category.Then pagelet shows all the links to the content.Then he can add that portlet in page or tab he want and assign privileges to that portlet. Suppose I'am going for an open CMS and integrate that with the portal, Can I achieve above functionality.That open CMS may allow to create content, assign privileges to the content and workflow cycle.But can I make the categories created in that CMS application appear in my portal as portlet in the reqd pagelets.Creation of categories as pagelets should be automated since Client can't write code to interact External CMS and display it as a pagelet whenever hw wants to add a new pagelet.So We should develop an application where user can choose a category from the list of categories created in the CMS, and clicking on "create as pagelet" should add a new portlet to the portlets list of the portal Has anyone ever implemented that way or suggest any solution Thanks, Kalyani. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
