Marian,
All of this is certainly possible. The primary J2 mechanism to
accomplish this is the profiler. It is used to direct certain users to
different PSML pages and folders. The available PSML for the active user
will determine which pages, folders, links, and even menus are presented
to the user. Security constraints can be used to fine tune the results
achieved by the profiler.
If you look at the J2 demo site, certain folders and page visibility are
controlled by login. Login as user/user, jetspeed/jetspeed, and
admin/admin to see different menus and views of the same site. Some of
the elements are even selected by role as you wish to do!
Scan the archives for this list and you will find references to others
who have needed to do the exact same thing.

Hi
I want to create an application with portlets. What i'm interested on
is to have different roles, with different tabs, with different left
links. .
Ex :
I will have N roles : role1,role2, role3,...
For every role I want different tabs : t1_role1, t2_role1 based on
security constraints.
For every tab I want in the left a different list of links (every link
will show the content of a .psml).
What is the easiest way to implement this ?
TIA, kama.
