Hi,

can anybody give me a hint where I can find information about the
profiling rules? So far I have understood that they determine the lookup
of ... things to display. But "page" and "docset" seem to be examples;
what else is there? And where are things looked up?

Thanks for pointing out this big piece of missing documentation.
I've started on documenting it:

http://svn.apache.org/viewcvs?rev=290073&view=rev

If you can svn update and then run

maven -o xdoc

I want to change the picture at the top of the Jetspeed pages. I have a
feeling that profiling rules can help me to add one file somewhere. But
I cannot figure out what to do. I'm about to copy the whole
tigris-subtree and change my file...

Thats another subject and its not the job of the profiler.
Your PSML page controls which page and portlet decorators are displayed
The Profiler builds the instructions to locate the PSML page
