Hi J2 users,
Sorry for mailing again, about the same question, but can anybody say whether
getting the user role in a portlet is possible.
Help needed desperately.
Thanks in advance,
Yasser

Thanks for the reply Jacek,
But my objective is to get the role of the user from the RolePrincipalImpl,
which is set in the Subject.
My question should have been , How do I get the User role in a portlet ?
I tried
request.getPortletSession.
getAttribute("org.apache.jetspeed.security.subject");
which returned me null !!!
I thought the subject is set in the JetSpeedServlet session and the same can be
accessed in a portletSession of a portlet but in vain.
Please help.
Yasser
