Hi,
I am able to build and deploy successfully Jetspeed 2 in Tomcat 5.5 with
Oracle 8i, I have posted those steps in the list earlier.
The following link shows Websphere 5.1,6.0 in the Application Servers
supported for Jetspeed 2.
http://portals.apache.org/jetspeed-2/features.html I am wondering if Jetspeed 2 is supported in Websphere if so can someone
suggest the steps to build and deploy Jetspeed 2 with any db(Oracle,
mySql, etc..) in Websphere 5.1, 6.0 who has earlier done so.

Yes, it is supported, although Im hesitant to discuss this here because its going to become a discussion about an IBM product, not an open source project. Have you tried contacting your vendor for support?

Note: Its best to provide your own authentication, or use the new Jetspeed non-CMA authentication configuration. I have not been able to get Jetspeed active authentication working on Websphere.

Anyway I will start writing an example Maven-1 project to create a distribution that you can then install into Websphere with the Admin Console.
