I had the same problem yesterday, but when I set up the proxy settings,
I also  added the settings 

-DproxySet=true -Dhttp.nonProxyHosts="localhost|*.companyname.com" (list
of your non-proxy hosts, separated by a |) 

along with the others that you mentioned.  That worked for me.
