Konrad,

The 2.0.1 branch is stable and simply needs to be released. There are no plans to fix more bugs in that branch.

2.1 is relatively stable at the moment. I suggest capturing svn snapshots and recording the svn version numbers as you go. You can then merge in patches if you get in a tight spot.

There are bigger things planned for 2.1.... AJAX and Web 2.0 work. However, they should be largely isolated in their own areas. I am perhaps not the most conservative person given that i work in open source, but i'd use 2.1 over 2.0.1. Just keep different svn branches so you are not forced into builds later on.

Hi,

There is a 2.0.1 branch but without much activity happening. I'm specifically interested in the fix for bug JS2-496[1], which is in the trunk only. Is it safe to go the 2.1 way for a customized portal or is there too much dangerous bleeding edge stuff contained?

regards,
konrad
