Lets not hijack Michael's question as this is an entirely different subject. I've changed the subject and put your name in there to get your attention. Hope you don't mind. This is what I see in the log files: log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.apache.commons.beanutils.ConvertUtils). log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly. Yet I tried variations of configuring a logger for BeanUtils log4j.category.org.apache.commons.beanutils.ConvertUtils = INFO, PLUTO, console log4j.additivity.org.apache.commons.beanutils.ConvertUtils = false Observations: 1. Jetspeed does start up fine with these *warnings* 2. I don't know what is causing the warnings I tried removing the beanutils jar and strange, i got the same error Tried dropping in the latest version of beanutils, and still the same error. Sorry, wish I could be of more help, I'll keep trying to figure it out --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
