I may have been a little quick with my reply.  When I downloaded from
source, I followed the documentation at
http://portals.apache.org/jetspeed-2/source-code.html, which has the
instructions for using Subversion as opposed to cvs which was in the
docs that you referenced.

to the cvs:

Am I doing something wrong?
