Hi,
inside Websphere (6.0 but this should be the same with 5.1) the Jetspeed
deployer does not work due to an incompatible jdom Library. WS comes
with an ancient jdom Library (jdom.jar).
So we deleted jdom.jar from Websphere's lib directory -> deployer works
because it uses the more recent jdom version that comes with Jetspeed.
We are still in the process: now Jetspeed evaluates given WAR files,
registers portlets,... and copies the WAR into Webspheres installedApps
folder. The WAR has to be installed manually now.
Hope this goes in the right direction.

Hi All,
First I added the Jetspeed-layouts in jetspeed.war. Maven is not adding
the jetspeed-layouts in jetspeed.war :( any reason for this?
I have created an ear with the Jetspeed wars and deployed that ear in
Websphere 5.1.
Jetspeed Engine is started successfully, the following is the log output
INFO: JetspeedServlet has successfuly started the Jetspeed Portal
Engine....
INFO: Jetspeed Initialization complete, Ready to service requests.
But it fails in j2-admin.war, the following is the log output

Can someone point me on this, I am really struggling with this.
