Hi,

that depends on what you want to do really. ;-)

You can take jetspeed.war an deploy it into WS. The naked portal will work. Problem is: the deployer will not work because WS6 comes with an old version of jdom.jar. Since it is in the classpath before the one that comes with Jetspeed. From what I've learned, this library is not used by WS, so it is save to delete it from the libs directory. (....)

Now you can put the layouts war in the JS deployment directory. It will be deployed and works. Since WS6 in the base version is not able to automatically deploy wars that are in the installedApps directory you will have to deploy additional wars manually through the admin console.

WebSphere 6 is supported, right ?

Where should I start if I would start from scratch myself: maven ?
