Actually, it worked for me. My context path for jetspeed is actually
/fep. As David pointed out, it worked under firefox.
I did a new build with the latest source to verify and the context path
problem still exists for me. When accessing the desktop, I just see a
grey and a blue horizontal stripe labeled with "Jetspeed". In my setup,
Jetspeed is deployed with j2:portal.genapp and j2:nodbMinStart under the
context path "/elatePortal".
There are no problems when installing Jetspeed with j2:nodbQuickStart
(no j2:portal.genapp) under "/jetspeed".
However, I can confirm your tab navigations issue with IE.

Subject: Re: JS2 Ajax desktop pipeline issue
Hi David,
I'd like to report another small bug with the desktop. I'm unable to
view it when Jetspeed is installed under another context path than
"/jetspeed". The tomcat console shows "dispatching desktop now null".
Btw., the desktop looks very impressive and promising!

Hello:
I am trying out the desktop pipeline with the demo portlets (I am
using
JS2.1-Dev). I am ok to switch between the first two pages (Welcome
to
Jetspeed and RSS). However, after I logged in, I was unable to
navigate
among tabs (i.e. if I clicked on JPetstore, what I got was Welcome
page;
I got CSS demo when I tried to navigate to JSFDemo, etc.)
The console says: (This is what I got when I clicked on JsfDemo
tab):
dispatching desktop now /jsf-demo.psml
dispatching desktop now /jpetstore.psml
dispatching desktop now /css-demo.psml
threre lines showed up in console right after I clicked on JSFDemo.
I
was thinking should be one line "dispatching desktop now /jsf-
demo.psml"
Something is wrong there. Please advise.
Thank you.
