I have some docs... but they are mostly related to installation issues,
and a little one that talks about security constraints...
But they are at an initial stage and I don't think they make you any
good... and, of course, they are far from being some kind of
"official"... ;)
Santiago, I've translated some (one or two) resources (properties files)
for admin portlets in J2 also... if I keep working on it I will send
them to you

Not that much that I'm aware of. I'm Spanish and live in Spain
(Galapagar, close to Madrid), but barely have time to keep with life...
The current translation of J2 was mostly my fault, though there were
some strings already there. I guess it needs some update now.
But translating documentation or tutorials is hard work, and all the
conferences or training that I have done in portlets has been in English
so far.
