Hi, I am new to Jetspeed and I wonder how can I get a whole sources of it and compile it using Eclipse. I have latest Maven 2 and Eclipse 3.1 with Subclipse plugin installed. I saw a link http://portals.apache.org/jetspeed-2/Portal-Development-with-Eclipse.html but it is broken for now.
The J2 project includes a .classpath and .project file in the subversion repository. They require that you define a MAVEN_REPO eclipse variable which points to your local Maven 1 repository (HOME/.maven/repository). That said there is also support for building with Maven2. Most developers build using the command line. The guide to building with Maven 2 is http://wiki.apache.org/portals/Jetspeed2/QuickstartForTheImpatient/BuildUsingMaven2 The guide to building with Maven 1 is http://wiki.apache.org/portals/Jetspeed2/QuickstartForTheImpatient/BuildUsingMaven Philip
