Hi John, In my case, I could see the edit icon when I logged on. Because the bookmarks are stored in a user's preference, you have to log on to see the edit icon. However, I could not see the edit icon with the default account, 'user'. I guess it might be intended. So you should register a user to log on in the 'User Registration' portlet.
